Jeff has trained his artisans with the same techniques that have been in the family for over 100 years. One of the techniques that is becoming a lost art when working with ornamental iron is the use of the forge and anvil.
He has trained his craftsmen in this technique and uses it whenever necessary to create the desired flare in a design.
While still keeping with traditional methods, Jeff has also been able to incorporate modern technologies to speed up the production while maintaining traditional quality.
The above picture is just one of many examples. A modern forge was built so the old techniques of the hammer and anvil could still be used. Here, John, one of Jeff's artisans, is working on a flange that will be used in an ornamental iron fence design. The end result creates a stunning design.
Even our economy fences are given hand manufactured attention. Each piece is hand crafted to achieve the quality and look we are known for. Our economy line of wrought iron fencing can complement a wide range of landscaping and estates.
Each piece is welded by hand to ensure the correct look is achieved. Because of slight variations customers desire, automated equipment simply cannot be used to achieve the traditional wrought iron look.
